Why Yoga for Trauma Healing?

Trauma doesn’t just live in the mind—it embeds itself in the body. For many survivors, talking about their experiences can feel impossible. Yoga offers a different path.

A way to reconnect.
A way to regulate.
A way to heal.

This course will help you understand why and how yoga works as a powerful tool for trauma recovery.

Who is this course for?

  • Healthcare Providers: Doctors, nurses, mental health professionals—anyone who works with trauma survivors and wants to integrate body-based healing approaches into their care.

  • Yoga and Wellness Teachers: Practitioners ready to deepen their knowledge of trauma-informed practices to create safer, more supportive spaces for students.
